Estimates / Quotes
We understand that putting together a Web
site can still be a very scary venture for some. That's why we try to be as
flexible as possible in providing three methods in which you can have your site produced.
Project Quote. A project quote can offer
you the security of knowing that the cost of your site is fixed and budgetable. At the same time, a quote allows us to add just the right finishing touch without getting a cost approval.
Recommended if:
- You have a clear idea of what you want in your Web site.
- You can provide us with a detailed outline that we can study.
- A fixed price is important to you.
Draw backs:
- All graphic design is provided on a "First-Best Effort" basis to protect us
from the unsatisfiable. We provide excellent high-end/fast loading graphics, but all
art is subject to interpretation. "Minor" changes and tweaks can be
accommodated without additional charges.
- If you decide part way through the project that your site needs a major new feature such
as CGI programming or Shopping Options, we must reserve the right to amend the cost to the
project total.
Hourly Rates. Work can be completed
purely on an hourly basis. This offers tremendous flexibility in adding whatever
you'd like to your site. This allows you to set specific spending limits and request
that we contact you for approval before working beyond those limits.
Recommended if:
- You need some guidance with your site.
- You want to retain total control over each aspect of development.
- You want to constantly update and improve your site over time.
- If your data is delivered to us in an organized, clear and electronic fashion, you cost will be GREATLY reduced because our effort (time) is reduced. This can effect in the neighborhood of 85% of your cost.
Draw backs:
- Your project may well become more costly.
The Best of Both. If
you're still not sure about which method is best for you, you may choose the best of both
worlds. We can quote your total estimated site cost, and go hourly for the final
tweaking and finishing touches, and of course on-going maintenance updates requested by
you. |
